In August 2002, the Ramirez family decided to open its first location in Mesa, AZ. As young girls in El Salvador, Miriam and her mother, Nina Martha, had a simple business plan for lunches. Nina Martha would cook tamales and various other aperitibos and Miriam went to the farms, football games, and the neighborhoods to sell the meals.
Once in the USA, Miriam wanted to open her own restaurant. She settled down in Mesa, AZ & found that there was no Salvadorean cuisine in the area. Word spread around quickly and today her restaurant is filled with local customers who savor its delicious pupusas, ceviche, steak onion soup or chipilin with beef soup and chicken tamales.
After much work we now have 1 location in California, 3 locations in Arizona and coming soon to Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale & Tucson! We can offer you a franchise, email us for more info!
